Senior Software Engineer, Storage (File & Block)

📋 Description

• Build Go-based control plane services for file/block storage.
• Improve NFS data path reliability, IO performance, and AI small-file workloads.
• Deliver CSI features in Kubernetes: dynamic provisioning, resize, snapshots.
• Improve reliability, durability, observability with telemetry and dashboards.
• Debug production issues in distributed, high-performance systems; ship lasting fixes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with compute, platform, and infrastructure teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years building distributed systems, storage systems, or infrastructure services.
• Production experience with storage, databases, or file systems; builder of the system.
• Proficiency in a systems language; Go preferred; Rust or C++ a plus.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals: consistency, replication, failure handling.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communicator; able to work collaboratively across teams.
