Senior Software Engineer, Tax Engineering

📋 Description

• Own the design and delivery of backend systems for cost basis tracking, gain/loss calculation
• Build new pipelines for broker reporting, automated withholding, and clearing integrations with
• Partner with Product, Design, Tax, Trading, and Positions teams to take ambiguous problems from
• Drive an extensible tax architecture so every new product launch can plug into shared primitives
• Strengthen engineering quality through design reviews, code reviews, and technical mentorship

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience building and operating production systems with
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals, with experience designing high-throughput services and
• Track record owning complex systems end-to-end, from design through production operation, in
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-functional partners to
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs
