Senior Software Engineer - UDS Foundations Team

📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer to work on core products with product managers, designers, and end users.
• Lead design, implementation, and deployment of features impacting mission outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineers and open source community on feature and bug fix requests.
• Work in an asynchronous, fully remote environment.
• Integrate software with existing defense systems, ensuring interoperability and security compliance.
• Own architecture decisions and maintain technical quality across the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with Git and GitHub in collaborative environments
• Proficiency in a modern language (Golang and/or TypeScript preferred)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (OpenTofu or Terraform)
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, databases, and cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Experience developing CLIs, Kubernetes Operators, and/or OpenTofu providers is a plus
