Senior Software Engineer, UI Platform

📋 Description

• Own meaningful pieces of the migration of product surfaces into independently deployable
• Design, build and operate data-intensive customer-facing surfaces in Redpanda Cloud end to end
• Build the graceful degradation and fallback behaviour that keeps our Cloud interfaces responsive
• Maintain release confidence by adding testing at all levels from unit tests to end-to-end, and
• Contribute to the design system and component library, keeping components composable across
• Write RFCs for your own work, review others' designs and code, and contribute to frontend standards

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production customer-facing web applications with
• Experience with large-scale frontend architecture where independently deployed pieces have to work
• A track record of delivering well-scoped projects with limited guidance, from design and planning
• Depth in modern frontend fundamentals: component architecture, state management, data fetching
• Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows using tools like Claude Code, Cursor or
• Fluency with frontend testing, unit through end-to-end, and a working sense of what belongs in CI
