Senior Software Engineer, World Modeling & Simulation

📋 Description

• Architect World & Scene Representation Systems (ECS, spatial indexing)
• Own Mapping & Geometry Pipelines (coordinate frames, spatial queries)
• Drive performance to the metal with optimized C++ (C++20)
• Lead technical strategy & integration across autonomy stacks
• Collaborate & mentor across sensor, planning & simulation teams

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering with spatial systems, world modeling, or simulation
• Expert-level C++ skills (C++20+), including templates, move semantics, SIMD
• Hands-on world/scene representations (game engine, sim, or autonomous system)
• Background in computational geometry: coordinate transforms, spatial data structures
• Strong Python and shell scripting for tooling and automation
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)
