📋 Description

• Own the Platform Engineering roadmap; set division priorities and translate goals into investments.
• Lead and grow a team of Software Engineering Managers across seven teams.
• Set engineering standards: frameworks, reliability targets, compliance, and CI/CD health.
• Drive AI-native platform strategy; oversee AI Builder, tool registry, dev environments.
• Own division reliability: SLOs, incident response, on-call health, prevention.
• Partner with CTO and leaders on org design, architecture, and headcount.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in leadership (2+ managing managers).
• Tech depth in two: distributed systems, backend/mobile frameworks, platform engineering.
• Track record owning platform/infrastructure teams at growth B2B SaaS; improves velocity.
• AI-forward: guide teams building on LLMs and agentic workflows; AI-native standards.
• Systems thinker; eliminates bottlenecks and designs teams, not just manages.
• Strong communicator to product, finance, and executive stakeholders.
