Senior Software Serviceability Engineer

📋 Description

• Own design-for-serviceability for software; diagnose/update/recover in field with minimal skill.
• Collaborate with R&D to build/validate diagnostic scripts, tooling, and self-tests.
• Define/own software diagnostics in Digital Shadow: remote diagnostics, fleet patterns, AR guidance.
• Validate software/AI service, repair, calibration, and OTA procedures before release.
• Own firmware/bootloader/calibration serviceability, including recovery paths.
• Support NSI for software; be single entry from Services to R&D for escalations.

🎯 Requirements

• Robotics/embedded software: ROS2, Bash, Ubuntu/Linux with bootloader/firmware workflows.
• Proficiency in Python (and ideally C++) for diagnostics and tooling.
• Hands-on robotics/electromechanical diagnostics; distinguish software/firmware/calibration/hardware faults.
• Understand sensor/actuator stacks (LiDAR, RGB cameras, motors) for software/diagnostics.
• Design-for-serviceability mindset; think about field technicians.
• Disciplined engineering practice and version control (Git).
