Senior Solutions Architect - Airflow (East Coast)

📋 Description

• Lead architecture reviews, workshops, and design sessions with engineering teams.
• Design end-to-end platform architectures integrating Airflow with cloud infra and data platforms.
• Review delivery work for scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
• Diagnose issues and guide customers through deployments, migrations, and modernization.
• Build reusable tools, frameworks, reference architectures, and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data engineering, platform engineering, or solution architecture.
• Airflow expertise: authoring and deploying production DAGs, monitoring, and debugging.
• Airflow tuning: performance, DAG refactoring, right-sizing infra, data quality checks.
• Track record coordinating deployments, migrations, and technical transformations with customers.
• Cloud-native data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with security patterns.
• Python and SQL programming.
• CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
