Senior Solutions Architect - Airflow (West Coast)

📋 Description

• Lead architecture reviews and design sessions with engineers and execs.
• Design end-to-end Airflow platform architectures with cloud infra and data platforms.
• Review delivery for scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
• Diagnose issues and guide deployments, migrations, and platform modernization.
• Build reusable tools, frameworks, reference architectures, and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data/ platform engineering or solution architecture.
• Airflow expertise: authoring and deploying DAGs to production.
• Tune Airflow performance; refactor DAGs; right-size infra; data quality checks/alerts.
• Guide customers through deployments/migrations and manage scope/timelines.
• Design cloud-native data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP; security patterns.
• Python and SQL programming experience.
