Senior Solutions Architect, Financial Services

📋 Description

• Lead discovery, demos, and validation to show GitLab's AI DevSecOps for FS across the software lifecycle.
• Own the technical evaluation as the DRI, incl. design, POC/POV, and workshops.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and sales to shape and execute FS account strategies.
• Build relationships with technical practitioners and business stakeholders in FS.
• Advise on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud for FS risk/governance.
• Provide feedback and insights to Product, Eng, Sales, and Marketing to inform roadmap.
• Maintain expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud tech, producing reusable collateral.
• Invest in your growth through learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with customers in pre-sales or advisory roles guiding solution design.
• Proficiency with end-to-end SDLC, DevSecOps, CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable CI/CD platforms.
• Practical knowledge of cloud concepts and deployment/security/ops options.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations, tenders or audits, and run workshops.
• Clear technical communication to practitioners and senior decision makers.
• Skill in building trusted relationships and advocating for customers internally.
• Motivation to continuously develop and deepen GitLab platform expertise.
