Senior Specialist - Environmental, Health & Safety (Research & Development)

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, procedures, and training site personnel.
• Provide subject matter expertise in chemical safety, biosafety, waste management, ergonomics, and
• Serve as a technical resource in Critical Safe Work programs, providing contractor safety and
• Investigate near misses and incidents; identifying root causes and recommended corrective actions.
• Track and analyze EHS metrics to determine trends to drive continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (EHS related, Engineering, chemistry) plus 5+ years of EHS related experience or
• EHS professional certification is preferred but not required.
• Working experience in implementing EHS regulations, conducting incident investigations, and
• Ability to establish measurable project goals and implementation plans, balance conflicting work
• Ability to develop standards and/or policies that meet business objectives.
• Ability to actively listen, build, and maintain effective working relationships with
