📋 Description

• Own the Analytics Engineering architecture, guiding long-term evolution of Render's Analytics
• Build trusted, reusable data models by designing, building, and maintaining governed dbt models as
• Establish engineering standards by defining and improving practices for data modeling, testing
• Enable self-service and AI-assisted analytics by designing semantic and context layers for
• Partner with analysts and scientists to translate domain business logic into scalable warehouse
• Improve reliability and efficiency by partnering with Data Engineering on source data quality

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or related technical field, with
• Expert-level SQL skills and track record designing scalable Kimball dimensional models.
• Deep expertise in modern Analytics Engineering practices including Git, testing, CI/CD
• Experience building semantic/context layers, trusted metrics, warehouse architectures supporting
• Strong understanding of cloud data warehouse architecture and platforms like BigQuery, Databricks
• Track record establishing technical standards and influencing engineering practices without formal
