Senior/Staff Backend Engineer, Finance

📋 Description

• Partner with Product and Design to roadmap advisor payments, commissions, and revenue systems
• Design and maintain distributed systems processing booking, payment, and reconciliation at scale
• Build backend services for payout logic, timing, ledger accuracy, and payment integrations
• Focus on performance, architecture, data modeling, and reliability in all owned systems
• Collaborate to define end-to-end solutions linking frontend to secure backend processes
• Own epics and deliver full end-to-end solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent experience
• 5+ years backend web development experience
• 3+ years Python with Django/Flask or equivalents
• Strong API and distributed systems design for financial data
• Relational databases, ORMs, and data models for accounting/ledger
• Background in FinTech, Payments, or infra—reconciliation and money movement
