Senior / Staff Build Reliability Engineer (Integration)

📋 Description

• Own Build Reliability for vehicle integration and test centers, defining reliability, manufacturability, and flight readiness.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance to ensure robust, scalable quality plans across the product lifecycle.
• Define integration readiness criteria including process qualification, design for manufacturability and inspectability, and drive risk retirement during ramp-up.
• Drive maturation of integration and test processes with documentation, equipment, tooling, process controls, data collection, and training support.
• Manage off-nominal work; drive risk mitigations and provide leadership for high-visibility issues with recovery plans; align operations, quality, and engineering.
• Collect and analyze build data; lead build quality reviews; deliver data-driven recommendations to prevent escapes and improve reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in quality, manufacturing, reliability, or design in aerospace/high-reliability hardware.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
• Deep expertise in reliability engineering and quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
• RCA, FMEA, SPC, and control plans; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
