Senior Staff Data Platform Software Engineer (Persistence & Data Management)

📋 Description

• Lead and guide the team in design/implementation of data platform solutions.
• Write scalable code with concurrency and memory best practices.
• Shape and execute data management strategies for scalability, efficiency, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data initiatives.
• Explore challenging data problems including data loss detection and recovery.
• Stay current with latest data storage and management technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of software development in high-traffic, cloud-based environment.
• Proficiency in Java programming and data structures/algorithms.
• Concurrency and parallel programming concepts.
• Deep knowledge of databases, data modeling, and data storage technologies.
• Hands-on experience with writing and deploying Java services in Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with distributed storage systems such as S3 and Apache Iceberg at scale is a strong plus.
