Senior Staff Engineer, Open Source Server

📋 Description

• Lead design and rollout of key server features.
• Set technical direction for OSS Server areas.
• Tackle distributed systems problems in task matching and scheduling.
• Partner with engineers, PMs, cloud teams, and customers to define plans.
• Improve testing, observability, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks.
• Review designs, mentor engineers, and guide technical decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years building and operating production distributed systems.
• Strong technical leadership: design, alignment, and delivery.
• Fundamentals in distributed systems, concurrency, fault tolerance.
• Production experience with Go, Java, or similar backend language.
• Experience with high-scale systems like queues, scheduling, or workflow engines.
• Operational instincts: reliability, observability, incident response.
