Senior / Staff Lidar Engineer

📋 Description

• Evaluate lidar tech to drive down-selection with customer teams.
• Develop test plans, perform tests, report results for lidar systems.
• Analyze large LiDAR datasets for KPIs across scenarios/conditions.
• Lead root-cause analysis and validation for fleet issues.
• Support and maintain lidar at scale in an autonomous fleet.
• Deliver traceable, testable lidar requirements with stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Physics, EE, or Optics
• 7+ years with lidar systems
• Strong lidar physics understanding and automotive lidar tech
• Ability to write high-quality, traceable performance requirements
• Experience with functional/reliability testing of opto-mech/electrical systems
• Experience with optical systems (laser, detector, imaging)
