Senior/Staff Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead and scale Fora’s platform infrastructure for reliability and performance.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, observability, and security.
• Collaborate with engineering to build scalable, secure services.
• Improve developer velocity with tooling, feature flags, and dev environments.
• Design and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure as code.
• Build monitoring with Datadog, CloudWatch, and custom metrics.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years engineering experience, at least 2 in platform engineering.
• Strong AWS experience: EKS, RDS, ALB/ELB, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM.
• Terraform-based infrastructure as code (preferred).
• PostgreSQL administration: performance tuning and replication.
• RabbitMQ, Kafka, Celery, or similar message queues.
• Datadog, Prometheus, or similar monitoring/observability.
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, feature flags).
