📋 Description

• Set roadmap for Fivetran AI based on research.
• Prototype ideas and ship production features.
• Define technical direction across Fivetran AI and partners.
• Build and maintain backend and frontend for AI product.
• Own production reliability: on-call and incident response.
• Mentor staff engineers and influence cross‑department decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of Python and/or Java; full-stack capability.
• Deep SQL and data warehouse experience (BigQuery/Snowflake/Databricks).
• Experience with dbt, LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Kubernetes and cloud exposure (AWS/GCP); MCP protocol familiarity.
• Writes high-quality production code; strong debugging skills.
• Mentors engineers; influences decisions across teams.
