Senior/Staff Software Development Engineer - macOS Endpoint

📋 Description

• Design, build, and own the macOS Endpoint Security client for events and inline denial.
• Own the enforcement path: event capture, policy eval, and Apple deadline denial.
• Reduce enforce-mode latency across fleets with enrichment and eviction caching.
• Extend enforcement to a Network Extension content filter tied to identity.
• Harden portability across macOS versions and Apple Silicon vs Intel.
• Partner with Linux/Windows teams on the shared policy plane and cross-stack reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep macOS internals: Endpoint Security, System/Network Extensions, code signing.
• Proficient in C/C++, Objective-C, Swift, or Rust for production.
• Experience building Endpoint Security enforcement and end-to-end System Extension workflows.
• macOS deployment: activation, MDM deployment, entitlements, code signing, notarization.
• Understanding App Sandbox, TCC, SIP and their interactions with endpoint tooling.
• 8+ years in macOS systems software; cross-team leadership; debugging tools.
