Senior Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate the connectivity layer between a customer's existing telephony and CCaaS
• Implement and harden integrations using SIP trunking and signaling, WebSocket and streaming media
• Design for call setup success, failover, and graceful degradation across carriers, media gateways
• Monitor and instrument the connectivity layer for latency, jitter, packet loss, and dropped-call
• Work directly inside a customer's environment in a forward deployed capacity, mapping their
• Ensure the audio, and signaling streams delivered are clean and low-latency for the voice AI

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated track record of building, shipping, and operating production telephony or CCaaS
• Hands-on experience integrating with CCaaS platforms using SIP trunking and signaling, WebSocket
• Experienced in setting architectural direction across teams, mentoring engineers, and driving
• Willingness to work directly with customers in a forward deployed capacity
• Typically 8+ years of production software experience, with several years focused on telephony, CTI
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field or
