Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Behavior Verification

📋 Description

• Develop and implement Python generalizable metrics to verify driving behavior of an autonomous
• Leverage ML models and safety metrics to evaluate end-to-end driving behavior.
• Evaluate metrics on synthetic/log simulation, on-road logs, closed-course testing, and third-party
• Collaborate with Systems, Behavior, Perception, Data Science, Product, Legal, and Public Trust
• Partner with simulation and test-integration teams to set up automated verification workflows.
• Generate detailed performance and validation reports to prove safety for deployment in the target

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of technical work experience in a related area with 3+ years in software development.
• Hands-on coding in Python or C++.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, EE, ME, Robotics, Physics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of robotic systems architecture and how sensing, localization, perception
• Familiarity with simulation and real-world testing of autonomous systems.
• Highly collaborative with strong analytical and communication skills.
