Senior Staff Software Engineer, IDM Engineering

📋 Description

• Design and develop large-scale Java-based identity management products
• Collaborate with a distributed team across Portland, OR, Canada, and Europe
• Analyze requirements with product management and architects for PingIDM
• Plan, estimate, and manage development tasks per business plans
• Enable successful cloud deployments
• Work with customer-facing support to resolve issues

🎯 Requirements

• Wide experience designing and developing large-scale Java apps
• Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services
• Familiar with cloud architectures and deployment strategies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience using AI agents such as Claude Code to plan, validate, and implement functionality
• Experience with identity management technologies and protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, cryptography)
• Understanding of enterprise-scale systems and configurations related to security
