📋 Description

• Design scalable platform components for retrieval: semantic/hybrid search
• Design indexing pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Build backend services for semantic/hybrid retrieval and knowledge graphs
• Improve retrieval quality with evaluation and observability frameworks
• Design APIs for internal and external user and agentic consumers
• Optimize latency, throughput and cost for large-scale inference and retrieval

🎯 Requirements

• Architectural depth: 6+ years shipping production-grade backends
• Data engineering: high-throughput indexing for unstructured/structured data
• Language proficiency: Go, Rust, C++, Java, or Python
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, cloud-native, observability; Terraform or Pulumi
• Product thinking and ownership; own problems, not tickets
