Design and deploy storage infrastructure (SAN, NAS, DAS, Object Storage).
Monitor and maintain storage systems for performance, availability, reliability.
Perform capacity planning and forecasting for future storage needs.
Develop backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
Troubleshoot storage system issues; optimize performance.
Collaborate with Platform Engineering; automate provisioning with scripting or IaC.

🎯 Requirements

5+ years Linux sysadmin experience focusing on storage (Ceph).
Experience with enterprise storage systems (PureStorage, NetApp, EMC, Dell, IBM, Hitachi).
Strong RAID/LVM/NFS/iSCSI/multipathing and file systems (ext4, XFS, ZFS).
Hands-on with enterprise storage systems and clustering technologies.
Proficiency in shell scripting.
Python, Puppet or Ansible; VMware or KVM virtualization experience.
