Senior System Performance Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and execute comprehensive performance validation strategies for Ethernet hardware and
• Characterize system performance using metrics such as throughput, packets per second, latency
• Analyze end-to-end packet processing pipelines to identify performance bottlenecks across hardware
• Develop and apply methodologies to optimize Ethernet datapath performance across varying traffic
• Evaluate the performance of Ethernet MAC, PHY, switch, NIC, and packet-processing hardware to
• Analyze bus utilization, DMA performance, memory bandwidth, cache efficiency, and hardware

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a
• At least 2 years of relevant industry or research experience in system performance engineering
• Strong understanding of Ethernet networking, packet processing, datapath architectures, and
• Experience with performance benchmarking and analysis, including throughput, packet processing
• Familiarity with Ethernet hardware components such as MAC, PHY, switches, NICs, and
• Understanding of low-level system performance factors including DMA, bus utilization, memory
