Senior Systems Architect

📋 Description

• Develop technoeconomic models to guide product concepts and direction.
• Partner with scientists and engineers to understand design options and cost.
• Carry out mechanical design, analysis, and bench tests to de-risk assumptions.
• Communicate architecture decisions to science, engineering, product, and finance teams.
• Establish system-level requirements and cascade them to component teams.

🎯 Requirements

• BS with 5+ years in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Demonstrated systems engineering: defining requirements, analyzing tradeoffs, integrating components.
• Strong physics-based modeling skills with core engineering fundamentals; programming a plus.
• Experience with complex hardware development in batteries or energy storage.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and ability to discuss topics across domains.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
