Senior Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Plan, design, and build MFA infrastructure for web apps (federal O&M).
• Build scalable, secure backend identity services using Cognito, Okta, Login.gov.
• On-site in Tysons Corner, VA, 3 days/week; collaborate with gov customers.
• Work with Engineering Lead to deliver on time in a deadline-driven env.
• Citizen with ability to obtain public trust clearance.
• Strong cloud, identity, security, and distributed systems knowledge.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + 10+ years in enterprise IT.
• Experience planning/building MFA infrastructure.
• AWS GovCloud services: Cognito, Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway.
• Active Directory and Federated sources experience.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation; GovCloud/FedRAMP.
• NIST SP 800-53 AC/IA; Agile/Scrum or Kanban via Jira; strong communication.
