Senior Systems Engineer, Cloudflare Tunnel

📋 Description

• Lead architecture and implementation of Cloudflare Tunnel systems.
• Participate in full SDLC: design, code, tests, and deployment monitoring.
• Collaborate with security, network, SRE, and product teams to design scalable solutions.
• Review peers' code to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Mentor team members; drive code reviews and engineering standards.
• Debug complex systems and improve operational health.
• Define long-term technical roadmap and system-wide improvements.
• Work with Go, Rust, TypeScript; SQL/NoSQL; Docker; Kubernetes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend development for secure, highly available distributed systems.
• Proficient in Go, Rust, or C++; systems languages.
• Experience with Unix/Linux development and runtimes.
• Knowledge of OSI Layers 3-7 networking and network programming.
• Familiar with microservices architecture and RESTful design.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
