Senior Systems Engineer (Federal) - DC or Virginia

📋 Description

• Own the federal opportunities' technical relationship from discovery to sign-off
• Partner with account teams to qualify deals and implement tech strategies
• Work with federal partners and SIs to design and position end customers' solutions
• Design architectures addressing performance, scale, resiliency, and security
• Build credibility with customer architects, engineers, ops, and security teams
• Build and maintain the federal toolkit: reference architectures and demos

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in a customer-facing technical role with federal experience
• Track record leading complex federal pre-sales engagements end to end
• Translate mission needs and technical requirements into practical designs
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences
• Ability to influence outcomes across cross-functional teams as a senior contributor
• Experience with civilian, DoD, or intelligence community customers
