Senior Systems Engineer (Media & Entertainment) - NY

📋 Description

• Own the MEGS opportunities from discovery to architecture sign-off
• Partner with account teams to qualify deals and shape technical strategies for performance workloads
• Design architectures for throughput, low-latency access, scale, multi-site collaboration
• Build credibility with technical directors, pipeline engineers, and IT operations
• Build and maintain the MEGS toolkit: reference architectures, demos, briefs

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles in software/storage/tech, incl. 4+ years in media/entertainment
• Track record leading complex pre-sales end-to-end with measurable results
• Working knowledge of editorial (Avid, Premiere), VFX (Nuke/After Effects/Flame), 3D/rendering (Maya/Cinema 4D), color (DaVinci Resolve)
• Strong grounding in unstructured data storage: file systems, metadata, high-throughput I/O (NFS, SMB, object)
• Comfort engaging creative, technical, and executive audiences
• Background in episodic TV/film/ads/sports/gaming/streaming production
