Senior Systems Engineer, Rider Journeys

📋 Description

• Own the systems engineering for novel rider facing features including but not limited to early
• Work with cross functional teams including software engineers, product managers, safety engineers
• Take ownership of the solution, considering applicability to long term goals, and appropriately use
• Collaborate closely with software engineers on design documents and support implementation with
• Partner with our test engineering team to develop rigorous and scalable recurring testing to
• Create dashboards and monitoring to validate in field performance and be the point person to debug

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other technical field
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or related field
• A systems engineering mindset and a proactive, data-driven approach to fixing problems
• An ability to read C++ to understand feature implementation and debug issues more effectively and
• Ability to think about the rider and an understanding of what might pose a safety risk for a given
• Aptitude to apply existing technical depth to new areas and learn quickly
