Senior Systems Integration Engineer, Brakes

📋 Description

• Lead design and controls development of a brake system for an autonomous vehicle.
• Author system specs, requirements, and interface control documents for the brake system.
• Develop system design and validation plans to ensure braking performance and safety.
• Plan and execute vehicle-level integration activities including HIL testing.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and controls teams to define system requirements.
• Ensure brake subsystems meet defined requirements and interface specifications.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in vehicle dynamics and control theory as applied to brake system design.
• Experience with brake system modeling and simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink or similar).
• Deep knowledge of developing automotive systems using model-based design processes.
• Proficiency with system and subsystem requirements tools (IBM DOORS, Polarion, or similar).
• Knowledge of automotive electrical architectures, including CAN/LIN/Ethernet and interface definitions.
• Experience developing System FMEAs and diagnostic strategies for safety-critical systems.
