Senior Tax Analyst

📋 Description

• Review sales/use and transaction tax returns, supporting schedules and data to defend audits and
• Apply state and local sales/use and other transaction tax knowledge in assisting with state and
• Ensure accurate and timely returns
• Compile and analyzing data required for accurate and timely submissions
• Monitor Avalara and related tax system and ensure data inputs are complete and accurate.
• Work with internal teams and customers to explain tax treatment and review exemption certificates.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in US state and local tax compliance, including sales/use tax and state
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics D365 is an advantage.
• Working experience with Avalara or similar tax compliance software
• Excellent research, analysis, and writing/verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to collaborate and foster relationships within the Tax team and with key functions
