Senior Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the evaluation of complex and novel accounting transactions, and document conclusions in memos
• Own preparation and review of 10-K and 10-Q content, including technical disclosures.
• Partner with external auditors and outside counsel, with the credibility to defend technical
• Build and run the technical accounting framework: policy library, memo standards, transaction
• Anticipate how new standards and regulatory changes affect Strava, and prepare the team ahead of
• Coach and develop your direct report, and hold the team to a high bar for technical quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience preparing 10-K and 10-Q filings.
• A CPA license and Big 4 public accounting experience.
• A track record of sound technical accounting judgment, shown through memos you have authored and
• The ability to work through issues with a range of cross-functional stakeholders, with a low-ego
• Experience managing and developing people.
• Experience supporting an IPO, an S-1, or a company's first years of public reporting is a plus.
