Senior Telecommunications / Network Engineer

📋 Description

• Research and analyze complex network inventories, configurations, technical requirements, and
• Support agency customers in developing individual network Performance Work Statements used to
• Evaluate technical and provisioning solutions proposed by carriers and EIS vendors, providing
• Provide specialized technical input for acquisition and engineering documentation, including Bid
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in service installations, scheduling activities, and technical
• Provide engineering recommendations on modern technologies capable of meeting or exceeding existing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related
• 8+ years of total IT experience, including at least 4 years of specialized network engineering
• Extensive engineering knowledge of WAN transport and access architectures, including MPLS
• Functional understanding of IP-based services, including premises-based and network-based IP VPNs
• Familiarity with VTC, hosted data environments, unified messaging, satellite infrastructure, and
• Experience working with federal provisioning data registries and systems such as GSA E-Morris
