📋 Description

• Define and own the mechanical qualification strategy for battery systems.
• Lead complex test programs and select applicable standards.
• Drive root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Correlate test results with FEA/modal analysis.
• Represent Form Energy with labs and certification bodies; mentor engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years mechanical test engineering; BS/MS in Mechanical or Structural Eng.
• Familiar with MIL-STD-810, IEC, UL, ASTM; adapt standards.
• Strong background in structural dynamics: modal analysis, vibration, SRS.
• Experience specifying/commissioning test equipment; correlate with FEA.
• Safety/compliance mindset for large-scale test environments.
• Excellent communication; present results to leadership and cert bodies; mentor juniors.
