Senior Tooling and Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain platform integrations connecting RMM, network monitoring, backup reporting, and
• Own Jira Service Management configuration, including workflows, screens, custom ticket and request
• Optimize alerting and monitoring by reviewing the full alerting lifecycle to reduce noise and
• Provide senior-level technical escalation for complex tooling failures involving integrations
• Establish and enforce tooling standards for integrations, alerting, configuration, and customer
• Lead tooling evaluations and implementation, including business case development, vendor

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a managed service provider (MSP) or enterprise IT environment
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining integrations with strong practical
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Replit, or comparable platforms
• Practical development experience in at least one language, such as Python, PowerShell, or
• Experience administering Jira Service Management or a comparable ITSM platform
• Working knowledge of RMM platforms, network monitoring solutions, backup tooling, and alert
