Senior Transmission Line Engineer - Grid

📋 Description

• Design and support transmission line projects across the 69kV to 500kV range, applying sound
• Develop design criteria, routing and siting strategies, cost analyses, and technical solutions for
• Perform or support conductor selection, shielding, grounding, and induction studies.
• Review transmission line models and engineering deliverables, including right-of-way requirements
• Work with vendors and clients to define and specify transmission line components and materials.
• Prepare technical plans, drawings, models, engineering calculations, specifications, and supporting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board-accredited
• At least 5 years of experience contributing to project teams and delivering diverse transmission
• Demonstrated experience with transmission line design, including applicable code requirements, cost
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD sufficient to review transmission line models.
• Knowledge of right-of-way requirements, conductor sag and tension, transmission line plan and
• Strong understanding of engineering design techniques, tools, and principles used to produce
