Senior Transmission Planning Engineer

📋 Description

• Perform transmission analysis to identify impactful locations for utility-scale projects
• Create scopes of work for third-party or internal engineers
• Review deliverables from internal or third-party engineers
• Create SOPs for team study methodologies
• Lead transmission planning engineering across multiple ISO territories
• Evaluate ISO and utility impact studies and propose alternative approaches

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of power engineering experience with transmission planning specialization
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (Master's preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of power systems and transmission planning practices
• Proficiency with planning software (PSSE, TARA, etc.)
• Ability to interpret ISO study deliverables
• Represent the company at ISO scoping calls
