📋 Description

• Assess and underwrite mid-market Commercial Property & Casualty risks, developing customized
• Apply broad underwriting knowledge and pricing principles to evaluate exposures, determine
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Commercial Insurance Specialists
• Partner closely with Actuarial, Claims, and other internal stakeholders to evaluate risks, develop
• Use strong negotiation and influencing skills to reach effective outcomes while balancing customer
• Analyze complex underwriting situations, identify risks and opportunities, and develop practical

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty underwriting, with demonstrated
• Strong knowledge and understanding of commercial underwriting disciplines, risk assessment
• Completed or actively pursuing a CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designation.
• Previous experience leading, coaching, or mentoring team members is considered an asset.
• Strong customer service background with the ability to build trusted, professional relationships
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities, with the ability to evaluate complex
