• Evaluate new business, renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and complex submissions while
• Make sound underwriting decisions within established authority limits, exercising independent
• Build and maintain strong relationships with independent insurance agents, becoming a trusted
• Provide agents with coverage guidance, creative solutions, market insights, and clear explanations
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, regional developments, emerging risks, and other
• Identify patterns across submissions, agency relationships, and portfolio performance to uncover

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Property & Casualty underwriting experience, with experience in homeowners
• Proven experience evaluating new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Experience working directly with independent insurance agents and building trusted agency
• Demonstrated ability to make independent underwriting decisions within established authority levels.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect individual risk characteristics with broader
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to explain underwriting
