📋 Description

  • Lead foundational, generative, and evaluative research for Reddit’s consumer product experiences.
  • Investigate user behaviors, motivations, and needs across discovery, engagement, and contribution.
  • Design and execute qualitative research: interviews, usability studies, diary studies.
  • Integrate qualitative insights with quantitative signals, surveys, and experiments.
  • Partner with product, design, engineering, data science, and cross-functional teams to shape roadmaps.
  • Communicate research findings with clear narratives and actionable recommendations for leadership.

🎯 Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PhD in HCI, psychology, behavioral science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of consumer UX research, preferably embedded on a product team.
  • Deep expertise in qualitative research methods and when to apply them.
  • Fluency with mixed-methods research, linking qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing product strategy through research.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling for cross-functional and leadership audiences.
