Senior Visual Basic Software Developer

📋 Description

• Own, maintain, and extend legacy VB6 COM components.
• Maintain SQL Server T-SQL billing procedures and ASP.NET WebForms UI.
• Partner with the COM owner on interfaces, changes, and validation.
• Reverse-document high-risk modules and add safety tests.
• Maintain VB6 build and licensed DLLs (ActiveReports 2.0, AspPDF, ExcelWriter).
• Plan and execute gradual migration of fragile legacy surfaces.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong VB6 and COM/COM+ interop.
• Classic ASP and VBScript.
• T-SQL on SQL Server (stored procedures, tuning).
• ASP.NET WebForms.
• English proficiency; read, decode, and document undocumented legacy code.
