Senior Wireless Systems Performance Engineer

📋 Description

• Evaluate and optimize Skydio's wireless solutions and extend range
• Lead OTA network performance to achieve robustness in dense environments
• Develop and validate system-level algorithms to improve performance
• Tune and optimize performance across WLAN and LTE standards
• Evaluate network performance with multiple drones and ground stations
• Improve performance testing infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding of WLAN/3GPP protocols and performance metrics
• Strong background in wireless channels and system performance
• Experience with Mesh, OFDMA and scheduled-based networks
• Experience with wireless test equipment and protocol analyzers
• Experience in test automation with automated test scripts
• Ability to collaborate across systems, SW and RF teams and debug near hardware
