Service Operations Technician

📋 Description

• Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of vehicle systems, including chassis, suspension, brakes, steering, and throttle.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues specific to autonomous vehicles like sensor installation and alignments.
• Collaborate closely with Fleet Operations and respond to fleet blocking issues in a timely manner.
• Work cross functionally with Engineering & Hardware teams to deliver diagnostic solutions on complex issues.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance including diagnostic and repairs.
• Travel as business needs require in order to provide service coverage (50-70%).

🎯 Requirements

• A safety-first mindset and strong communication.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing CAN bus automotive systems.
• Understanding of tractor/trailer repairs incl. tires, brakes, air systems.
• Ability to diagnose/repair automotive electrical systems and sensors.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Class A CDL.
• Pass DOT Physical and maintain medical certificate.
