Silicon Engineer

📋 Description

• End-to-end activities for the program: strategy, spec, execution, technical bar
• Write specs and interface definitions for others to implement
• Make directional calls on tech selection and buy/build/licensing decisions
• Develop AI-assisted approaches to code-like parts of your domain
• Contribute to architecture discussions with impact on chip design
• Collaborate with inference, kernels, and infra teams on co-design

🎯 Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise in at least one silicon domain (front-end design, pre-silicon verification
• Direct personal contribution to silicon that taped out and shipped
• Ability to reason about cross-domain chip-level tradeoffs
• Experience working with external partners (ASIC houses, foundries, IP vendors)
• Track record of owning directional technical decisions and their consequences
• Practical experience with AI coding tools in your work and awareness of limitations
