Design, analyze, and simulate optical blocks (MZM, microring modulators) in silicon photonics.
Derive specifications for photonics IC systems and circuits.
Design and model optical interfaces (edge and grating couplers).
Familiar with RF, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.
Collaborate with system architects, DSP, electro-optics, and ASIC teams on HW/SW partitioning.
Perform IC floorplanning and layout; evaluate high-speed optical link blocks.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer engineering, or computer science.
2+ years of photonics or electro-optical IC design.
MS/PhD in EE/CE (electro-optics IC) or applied physics.
Experience with Spectre and ADS.
Advanced packaging for co-packaged optics (CPO).
High-speed analog/mixed-signal IC design (modulators, TIAs, CTLEs).
