Site Director

📋 Description

• Own overall site operations, safety, and security; approve activities
• Coordinate with engineering/chemistry to plan tests and campaigns
• Authorize go/no-go for tests and energetic material operations
• Establish and enforce site policies, SOPs, and controls
• Ensure regulatory compliance across ATF, DoD, DDESB, EPA/RCRA, ITAR
• Lead emergency response planning and incident command; coordinate with responders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or related field, or equivalent
• 7+ years in operations, production, or facility management in a regulated environment, incl. 3+ years in leadership
• Working knowledge of ATF explosives regulations (27 CFR 555) and/or DoD safety standards
• Experience owning site safety and/or security programs, including SOP development
• Proven ability to serve as final safety authority; authority to stop or defer activity
• Strong planning and coordination across engineering, operations, and support
