Site Reliability Engineer - IBM AIX

📋 Description

• Participate in architecture and provisioning of IBM hardware
• Install, configure, and maintain physical hosts
• Provision PowerVM hosts per requirements
• Configure and certify AIX images per CIS/security controls
• Coordinate with staff to deploy systems and software
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent
• 8+ years deploying and operating mission-critical systems
• Fluency in AIX
• Fluency in Linux
• Strong automation experience (e.g., Ansible)
• Experience with IBM POWER hardware, AIX OS, and PowerVC
